Theme:

This match is geared foremost to SKS owners and secondly (for those who do not own an SKS) any mil surp rifle chambered or converted to the 7.62x39 cartridge.

Classes:

Class 1:  Unmodified SKS rifles (no modifications allowed, no optic sights)

Class 2:  Modified SKS rifles (any modification allowed, including optic sights)

Class 3:  Other 7.62x39 mil surp rifles, both semi auto or bolt, iron sights only

Class 4:  Other 7.62x39 mil surp rifles, both semi auto or bolt, optic sights only

Ammunition:

Any 7.62x39 ammo is allowed.

Distances:

For Classes 1 and 3 (non optic sights) 50 yards

For Classes 2 and 4 (optic sights) 100 yards

Position:

Any position is allowed.  No rear sand bag or other support allowed.  No “gun cradles” allowed.  Slings are allowed

Modified downloaded SR-1.  Maximum 6” across measurement for black area

Three targets of 5 shots each.  Shoot as many as you like, send in your best three.

On back of each target print the following:

            Name

            Email address

            Rifle used

            Category

            Ammo type

 

Scoring:

Standard scoring rules apply.  Any shots less than 5 on target will be counted as a miss.  Any shots over 5 on the target, the 5 LOWEST shots will be used for score.

Prizes:

Top shooter in each category will receive a certificate.  A random door prize drawing from all eligible shooters will be held.
