The Steyr m95 carbine is clip loaded
via a 5 round clip. |
 |
Insert the clip into magazine and press
down until clip locks into place, then close bolt to chamber first
cartridge. |
 |
Unloading the magazine is accomplished
via pressing the magazine release located at the front inside of the
trigger guard. The clip will pop out of the top of the magazine.
After last cartridge is chambered, empty clip falls out of bottom
of magazine. |

When the rear sight is laid flat it is in battle sight
configuration and preset to 500 schritten in
distance.
|
 |
The leaf is raised for elevation
adjustment. The tangent gradient ranges from 300
schritten to 2200
schritten. The m95
sights are graduated in schritten, not meters. 1 schritt = 0.75
meters. |

Safety
|
|
|
The m95 safety is simple to operate.
It has two positions, Safe or Ready. As show in
safety figure "ready", the lever is pushed down for Ready/Fire (ready
to fire). |
|
|
As show in safety figure "safe",
the lever when lifted is in the safe position (safe from fire).
This locks the bolt in the receiver. |
