7.5x55 Swiss,
GP-11, 7.5x55 Schmidt-Rubin
The 7.5x55 Swiss (GP-11) was adopted in 1911, giving
the Schmidt-Rubin rifles a .308 bore. The GP-11 round stayed
the primary Swiss round until the end
of Schmidt-Rubin rifle service life.
